A song and a dream.(DeShara Reneé)

DeShara Reneé, who began singing and playing piano at age 5, is quickly becoming a music veteran. Despite her timidity, young DeShara Reneé has already built an enviable resume listing collaborations with an impressive group of singers, writers, and producers, including Chaka Kahn and Trackmasters. Her lyrics can be found on movie soundtracks and have been performed by artists such as Red Café and Monifa. And when shes not sharing her talent with other artists, shes opening for major acts like Ludacris and Paul Wall and sharing the stage with artist such as Chris Brown and Ray Cash.

DeShara Reneé takes advantage of all of her experiences. Anyone that I work with, I gain something from. Everyone has a different way of doing something, and Im always trying to learn and take away something from the situation. She is driven by her skill for observation and an ability to channel what she absorbs into her passion for music. DeShara Reneé writes all of her songs, and because she has a remarkable ability to get in touch with not only herself but with others, her repertoire is more varied than one might expect for her age. I write what Im feeling, what Im imagining. I write about issues -- being too skinny, too fat -- love and what Id like it to be, how Id like it to be. I tend to write a lot about me and personal things that Ive gone through and things that I think about. I want you to really get to know me and get to know my heart.

DeShara Reneé doesn't mind sharing herself with an audience. I love other people loving music. Thats the gift that I get, because I can give other people the things that they use in life. She says she uses music as a tool to recognize or to identify with people, and she finds it interesting that music is a way that one can have a voice that can reach millions. With being classically trained and a pianist, DeShara Renee' uses an array of sounds approaches to capture her audience and dazzle them with seduction.

Her next step? Being introduced to the world. Being on every radio station I could possibly BE ON. Getting a lot of people to understand who I am and what kind of artist I am and really grasping DeShara Reneé. I dont know how and I dont know which way, but I know it's a matter of time!

Basically my name is Octavia Simmons. I was Born In Miami,Florida.I've been singing since i was 5 yrs.old. Besides the alphabet song, the first song i ever song was the cops theme song, that's when i considered myself as a star. Later on moving to Ft.Lauderdale,Boca Raton, Temple Terrace, and now living in tampa it became very difficult for me movin from place to place. Once i reached the age of 11 yrs.old i wrote my first rap called "You Ugly You're Skinny You're Thinner Than A Penny" it was a very comical song but still the first song i ever wrote once i reached the 7th grade i wrote a RnB song called "I Think you betta Leave" and from that point on i've been writin RnB songs ever since. In 9th grade i decided to showcase my talent and be a part of the talent show at Blake Highschool, unfortunately i didn't win but it got me used to singing in front of big crowds. That challenge in my life made me see that if something doesn't go your way keep trying and never give up. I'm Now a junior in highschool and i'm still doin what i have to do to try to be in the music industry yes i kno that bein on a record deal is jus a dream but i kno in my heart that i'm a star and that's all that matters. It's always great to have a back up plan and i do it would be to become a psychologist and earn a degree in that. I have one thing to say to all my haters, " Even though You blocked my path once you're never block it again.
